Ryan Kelly's performance tonight is another reminder on what a good HEALTHY team can accomplish. You always hear what helps a team win a big game is them getting healthy at the right time (New York Giants). What better timing to get healthy than the first week of March, and for Duke, what better team than Miami. Everyone in the college basketball world remembers what Miami did to the Dukies earlier this year, beating them by 25+ points. Well now Duke was at home, and like I've said before, a team's true identity is how they play at on neutral grounds and at home. Ryan Kelly being healthy helps a little too.
Final stat line... 36 points 7 rebounds 2 steals.. 20 points at half for Kelly and shooting 7-9 behind the arc throughout the game. In a 79-76 win every single one of those points count.
Remember this, Duke was 15-0 before his injury, beating then number 2 ranked Louisville in the process and number 4 Ohio State, since his injury they dropped to 9-4.
Duke comes up as my second favorite in the tourney, Indiana has Zeller, Olandipo and Watford. Duke has Curry, Plumlee and Kelly.
