Some musical duos have come together and were a disaster and some have been unexpected but shocked listeners with the musical chemistry the artists had. Jay-Z and Justin, Eminem and Rihanna, Akon and Michael Jackson. These artists, all from different musical backgrounds, have made catchy, beautiful songs we all love. And the newest unexpected pair has become Snoop Dogg (or "Snoop Lion" if you actually call him that) and Miley Cyrus. I know what you're thinking, Snoop and Miley?! What the f***? But it's impressive. They've collabed for a track called "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" and you'll be hitting 'replay' once you listen to it.
We know Miley hasn't been one to hide her Snoop like habits, like her infamous bong hit heard around the world, and now she's sharing their common interest through song. Say what you want about Miley, her shaved hair or her previous work as a Disney child star, but the girl has got the vocal chords to pursue almost any genre of music she wants and she has mastered them all so far. She's done pop, country, rock and now reggae, and she kills it. Take a listen to "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" whether you're a fan or not, because she's not Hannah Montana anymore, and this song will make you forget she ever was.
