CFL Implemented in NFL
According to Bleacher Report, a year ago the NFL considered changing the way it's field was aligned. They considered to do some sort of moderation of the CFL field (Canadian Football League). Except instead of two 50 yard lines, like the CFL has, they would keep their one. The field would be much wider and the end-zones would be 10 yards deeper each. The reasoning behind all of this is the ongoing case of severe injuries in the NFL. While injuries have always been a huge part of the game, only recently has the NFL started to take action in protecting it's players. I'm not sure how a wider field would help injuries, but that's their mindset behind it. Supposedly these talks are dead right now but could be brought up again at the meetings at the combine. Leave your thoughts or comments on if this could actually be beneficial for the NFL.
