5 OT Big East Battle

Couldn't be more fitting that the College Gameday game was the best...and the longest. Took them 5 Ot's to finally figure this one out with Notre Dame topping Louisville 104-101. L-ville was up with 42 seconds left in regulation and blew it. It wasn't the prettiest of games but it was your typical Big East grinder game. I'm going to miss watching these types of Big East battles when it breaks up. Big East basketball is a brand...a tough, physical brand and I love watching it, especially the tournament. Well back to the game, Jack Cooley, Notre Dame's best player, fouled out in regulation on a pretty bad call which I thought should have been over the back on Louisville. But regardless huge win for the Irish finishing off the W without their key player against a very good Louisville team. This March is shaping up to be one of the best yet, no clear cut favorite.
