The Lonely Island collabed with Adam Levine and Kendrick Lamar for an SNL digital short "YOLO" for the Jan. 26 episode, mocking the ever so famous saying YOLO which means You Only Live Once. This new video brings a different message of the slang term, making you rethink what YOLO really should stand for.
The Lonely Island is a musical group led by frontman and former SNL member, Andy Samberg. They have made many popular comedy music videos, with big musical appearances, including I'm On a Boat featuring T-Pain, Shy Ronnie featuring Rihanna, and I Just Had Sex featuring Akon. If you haven't checked out any of their former videos, go to YouTube immediately and watch them all, you won't be disappointed and you'll see many familiar faces.
If you like saying YOLO, you think Adam Levine is easy on the eyes, or you just want to see Kendrick Lamar rap to you some financial advice, then watch it. Because then you'll watch it over and over, get the song stuck in your head and hopefully understand why YOLO should have never started being said in the first place.
