The Pro Bowl, Do You Even Care?

So last night was another edition of the diminishing "NFL All-Star Game" we call the Pro Bowl. And to be honest I might have watched a grand total of about 5 plays from that game because it is not worth anyones' time. I might lose respect for you as a human being if you watched the Pro Bowl from beginning to end. The whole game is the NFL's best talent showing how lazy they can be on the field. The only reason the players want to keep the game around is because it is a bro trip to Hawaii with all of the best players in the league. You know almost all of the players are out partying every night during the week before the game, minus Andrew Luck, and that contributes to them wanting to keep it. But, honestly something needs to be done about this because no one respects the Pro Bowl and as a football fan I can honestly say I don't give a shit about it. The ratings continue to go down each year and this year it has fallen to 3.3 rating which is down 8% from last year. Compared to regular season games which as a hole averaged a 6.1 rating, meaning your average everyday regular season game is consistently doubling the ratings of the "All-Star Game". In order to keep the Pro Bowl something needs to be done to create more viewers and better ratings. In my opinion I think fan vote should not be counted as much so that the people who truly deserve to be there get in to get honored for the great season they had. For example, Alfred Morris, who was this year's second leading rusher in the NFL, did not get voted in. In other words it is total bullshit. Another adjustment they could make is making the Pro Bowl an All-Star weekend type thing like the NFL with competitions and other things to go along with the game. Lastly, another option they can do is cancel altogether and focus more on making the All-Pro team mean more. So lets start the debate leave a comment with your opinion on how the Pro Bowl could change for the better.

P.S. This is the only Pro Bowl moment that I can remember from my 18 years of life
