Rick Kaepernick, Colin's white, adopted father, says other dads used to say, "Which kid's yours?" Rick: "No. 10." Look. Pause. "You SURE?"Saw this tweet by Rick Reilly earlier today and immediately started laughing afterward about how awkward it must have been for the person who found out this way Kaepernick was adopted. I'm a big Kaepernick fan myself and admire his story. If you don't follow Rick Reilly already I advise you to do so, always has some good inside information. Also if you don't know the reason or art behind "Kaepernicking", I found out recently it all started when a journalist criticized Colin for his tattoos all over his arms. So now every time he scores he gives a virtual middle finger to him by kissing his tattoos, located on his biceps, which has now turned into a national phenomena. Another reason why I love Kaepernick because he could care less what you think about him, his story, or his tattoos.
