3 Team NBA Deal

Only one of the teams involved are playoff contenders, the Grizzlies, and they just sent their best player in my opinion, Rudy Gay, to the Toronto Raptors. The Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies were the other two teams involved. The Grizzlies got PF/C Ed Davis from Toronto and 2 other forwards from Detroit, Austin Daye and the ageless wonder Tayshaun Prince. Tayshaun Prince always reminds me of the early 2000 Pistons with Rasheed, Big Ben, Chauncey, Rip Hamilton...The Glory Days for Detroit, anyway they suck now so who cares. Detroit with get sharp shooting PG Jose Calderon in the deal and will pick up the rest of his contract. Some might think this is a dumb move by the Grizzlies but personally I believe for the long run it could help because getting rid of Rudy Gay means getting rid of a huge contract.
